Using OwnMem
These terms cover your use of the OwnMem account, control center, AI spaces, chat and memory features. Read them alongside the privacy and browser-storage notices. If you cannot accept these terms, do not use the service. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded by this notice.
Your account and connected environment
- Provide accurate account details and protect your password and binding credentials. Do not share or misuse another person’s account.
- Connect only an AI environment you are authorized to use. Its tools, permissions and model settings determine what it can do.
- If credentials are exposed, rotate the affected binding and update your plugin configuration.
AI output, memory and execution
AI output and extracted memory may be incomplete or incorrect. Review important information before relying on it. You remain responsible for permissions granted to your connected tools and for checking sensitive actions.
A stop request in the interface may not immediately stop an action already running in your external environment. Check the execution environment when immediate interruption is needed.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in the content you provide. OwnMem processes that content as needed to deliver chat, memory and related features, including sending relevant context to configured AI providers and your connected environment. Only submit material you are entitled to use.
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malware, harassment or infringement of others’ rights. Access may be restricted to address abuse or security incidents.
Plans, usage and payments
Review the price, currency, included allowance and payment environment shown before confirming a purchase. Test or sandbox payments are not evidence of a completed real purchase. Platform balance, model usage and your external provider’s charges can be separate. Historical account scores are not a promise of AI capability or paid benefits.
For payment discrepancies, cancellation or refund requests, contact support with the relevant order reference. Applicable consumer rights remain in force.
Availability, changes and questions
Connected environments, models and external providers may be unavailable or change behavior. Keep copies of important files and review significant service changes. Contact OwnMem through the contact page for questions about these terms or your account.
